A unique hiking experience – 7 peaks in 7 locations throughout Salzburger Sportworld. Come and discover your favourite places and the natural beauties of Radstadt and the surrounding region while hiking through the Alps on this Salzburg Peak Challenge, with stories and rituals. It invites you to take time to take in the full experience of this alpine world, just pause and let your imagination run wild. Every summit tour is a unique mountain experience with breathtaking panoramas.

7 mountains in 7 locations throughout Salzburger Sportworld have to be conquered:
The “Benevolent Queen” is the Bischofsmütze (Bishop`s Mitre) in Filzmoos
The six Noblemen are:
- Rossbrand in Radstadt – The Scout
- Hochgründeck in St. Johann – The Healer
- Penkkopf in Wagrain-Kleinarl – The Magician
- Saukarfunktel in Flachau The Poet
- Lackenkogel in Altenmarkt – The Watchman
- Gerzkopf in Eben – The Bearer of Secrets
How do the Salzburger Sportworld Summit Games work?
You design this playful hiking experience yourself and according to your own schedule, so don`t worry – the 7 summits do not have to be conquered in one holiday week. The Salzburg Summit Game can be played over several seasons and you can choose the mountains in any order.
You need for the Salzburg Summit Games:
- Your personal Summit Games box, which contains
- A drinking cup – which is fitted with a carabiner
- and a tour book and a hiking map,
This box can be purchased directly from us at the Hotel Stegerbräu in Radstadt, for € 19,00 (with the guest-card). On each summit, there is a summit book that looks forward to your personal entry. It is important that you get an embossing stamp for your tour book on each summit, for which you then receive a “summit collectable” for the drinking cup. When at least 4 of 7 mountains have been climbed, you can collect a small surprise as a reward at the end.
