Winter time
The new Panorama Link connection in Snow Space
Skiing over 12 peaks and 5 valleys
Since December 2020, a Panorama Link gondola provides a new connection between Snow Space Salzburg and the Shuttleberg.
That means a connection of 2 x 3 valleys.
These are the already connected ski areas:
- Zauchensee/Flachauwinkl/Kleinarl and
- Flachau/Wagrain/St.Johann-Alpendorf.
The slopes of the Shuttleberg (Flachauwinkl/Kleinarl) are connected with those of Wagrain and opens up one of the largest and most varied winter sport regions in Europe – the “Heart of Ski amadé”
The new Panorama Link connection lift
The route of the 3,1 km long lift takes you from the mountain stations on the Grießenkareck over the ridges to the mountain station of Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl. That means skiing from A to Z (from Alpendorf to Zauchensee), including over 200 kilometres of slopes in a single day of skiing and with just one lift ticket. Only the short distance of 400 m between bottom station Flachauwinkl-Highport to the lifts of the Shuttleberg have to be covered with the ski bus (shuttle every 5-10 minutes) for the time being.
The resorts of Ski amadé
Ski Amade has been around for 20 years and is Austria’s greatest ski paradise with 5 ski-regions and 25 resorts, offering 760 kilometres of slopes and 270 lift facilities.
