Radstadt has braved many blazes, the farmers’ war of\u00a01525\/26 and a flood of refugees during the 2nd World War. The town today stands proudly as an endearing mediaeval town with picturesque squares and romantic town pond, small shops and imposing buildings. Culture of the highest Level, Customs & Traditions<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Thanks to dedicated inhabitants of Radstadt the cultural scene has grown over the years and offers a wide spectrum of events.<\/a> In honour of Paul Hofhaimer\u00a0the “Paul Hofhaimer Days” t<\/a>ake place every year. Radstadt’s most famous citizen was a well-known organ player and composer who was court\u00a0organist to\u00a0Kaiser Maximilian I.<\/p>\n

The Radstadt Culture Circle <\/a>also offers interesting events throughout the year and is the main hub for the arts cinema programme in Pongau. Wednesday is usually cinema day. <\/strong>In the summer months of July and August, weather permitting, there is an open-air cinema. <\/strong>With Music in Town, <\/strong>the bars in Radstadt centre invite you to musical summer evenings every Thursday in July and August. Once a week , the farmer’s market takes place on the town square with wonderful seasonal offers. Here you will find crunchy vegetables, freshly caught fish golden honey and colourful flowers.
